Vita

Nicole Geffert is passionate about what moves people. After completing her studies in history and sociology at the Technical University of Braunschweig, she learned the craft of journalism in the newsroom of a daily newspaper. Today, she works as a freelance writer for magazines and blogs, covering aviation and mobility, research and science, taxes and law. Geffert has been fascinated by aerospace since the mid-1990s. Back then, she was already writing about adaptive wings for fuel efficiency and the dangers posed by space debris. She’s particularly interested in the people behind the ideas: researchers, experts, thought leaders. Even in the age of AI, they are the ones who drive innovation, take responsibility, and boldly blaze new trails.
