Vita

Thorsten Rienth started writing during his school years for the local news section at Süddeutsche Zeitung, one of Germany’s top daily newspapers, and stayed with the publication for a long time. Among other things, he studied American cultural history and political science at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and completed an editorial training program at the Deutsche Journalistenschule (German School of Journalism, DJS). He also spent a year in Hawaii. Rienth works as a technology journalist primarily in fields involving aircraft, trains, or sustainable energy sources.
